Thank you for attending Rome's dinner party! Hopefully you had a good time and will talk about this dinner party for years to come. Accept this parting gift to remember the party. This will be first of the many Roman parties planned while I'm here.
( she has to give her "papa" something for christmas. so when that day comes, he will have a gift from her which is ice cream sundae in a box! oh so that's the reason why the present feels so ice cold!! )
[A package is left on the doorstep, wrapped in brightly colored wrapping paper with a bow on top. Inside of the box is a chocolate bar, a small robot, and a Sealand nobility pack. Also, there is a letter attached that reads:]
"Dear Spain,
Inside this box are some things that I enjoy! I hope that you like them, too. Have a happy Christmas!
[ Whether you've been naughty or nice, Hong Kong wants you to have a very Merry Christmas and happiest holidays. The best way to do this, of course, is via eating sweets that have been lovingly and tenderly hand-crafted for you and by imbibing a little mulled wine. If you're underage, you get some apple cider. Which is just as festive! Warm it up, sit in front of your tree, and eat the heads off some gingerbread people as you wait for Santa to come knocking. Or sliding down your chimney, whichever. Included with the package is a card wishing you a "Happy Christmas!"
Like Romano, Spain's gift for some reason includes a jar of tomato sauce. Hm. ]
[Merry Christmas! In Sweden's giftbasket, there will be an Ikea giftcard of $100, mulled wine (or Julmust, depending on your taste/age), gingerbread, knäck, and lussekatter. Hope you like sweets.
And especially for Spain, there will be red & golden yellow scarf along with a recipe for Swedish meatballs. Accompanying this is a letter:]
Spain,
I hope you enjoy the gifts. If you would like to redeem the giftcard for money, you may do so. Thank you for the gifts. You gave me enough courage to dance with Finland, and for that, I cannot thank you enough. If you ever need a favor or any help, you can always come to me.
[ In Japan, gift giving is quite an important part of his culture in general. But being newer to Holly Heights, and unsure what exactly everyone would want (or need), he decides to go neutral with most this year in regards to the presents he gives. Despite that, in your mailbox will be an attractively wrapped box full of onigiri, made by Japan himself. An attached note shall read:
"This is but a trifle, but... Merry Christmas from me to you. ♫ -Japan" ]
[Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It is a time of generosity, and so Vietnam would like to share some food that one can share with family and friends. A basket will be discovered on your doorstep containing bánh chuối nướng (a Vietnamese style baked banana cake/pudding) and a can of sweetened condensed milk to go with it. One will also discover some bánh quy bơ quế (butter cookies with the best Vietnamese cinnamon she can get her hands on), and an assortment of mứt (candied fruit preserves) for the New Year. A card is included:]
Spain,
Chúc Mừng Giáng Sinh! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I hope you will have a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous new year. Always keep smiling, it is very sunny, something many wish to have.
[ In Lithuania's gift basket, there will be a large kaledu pyragas bread, as well as a dark, heavy chocolate bar. Also, tied in a little red cellophane sack are some ausuki, though considerably less burnt than the picture. There's a decent-size ornament attached to the handle of the basket too. Spain also gets a knit hat, though it's actually store bought, but shhh. Lining the basket is a thin sheet of bandana like material, and a note is safety-pinned to the front.]
Linksmų Kalėdų ir laimingų Naujųjų Metų (Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year), I hope that while being here might not be such a great thing for you, I hope that you can find some enjoyment in your time here. Please accept these cultural Christmas offerings. I hope I included enough for your whole household!
P.S. Thank you for your gifts. They're well appreciated and I'll take your advice. -Lithuania
Spain has also received an extra special gift of letter for being extra important to Rome! The letter talks about Trajan, how important Spain is to him, and how thankful and proud he is of Spain. It does note he's a bit sad he missed Spain growing up to add a bittersweet tone, but he hopes they can catch up and make up for lost time.]
[Poland gave his gift purposely after Christmas day. After all, Christmas is a busy day for him. It's not like he did very much for everybody. Just some makowiec, chrusciki, and of a opłatek.
Attached is a note:]
Spain, Good wishes for the next year and may good health be with you.
[It seems oddly serious for Poland. It's Christmas, though, and there are just some things he does take seriously. This is one of them. But never fear! There is a picture of a badly drawn football and it looks like it's saying yes. Or something. Poland was never known for his drawing skills, but it seems like he's saying yes to playing football sometime.]
[ Normally, the regains and notices have been pretty nonchalant in their delivery, other than their piercing punctuality and synchronization. This time, though, the delivery is a tad bit more aggressive.
A journal will come to you in one of two ways, depending on your house and its set up. If you'd imagine your house has a mail slot in its door, then it will come shooting through, skittering across your floor. If you'd rather just have your one mail delivery system, your mailbox, then your journal will be chunked through your window. The glaring hole will be fixed by tomorrow.
If you're brave enough to pick it up, there will be be a piece of paper roped to it with a thin length of packaging twine. The paper states plainly Use your christmas key.
If your character remembers, their gift for fulfilling the Christmas event was a key gifted to them on New Years, which attached itself to their keyring after they accepted it. And yet another if: if they remember they can open it with this key.
And if they open it, they'll find this. Checking back on it every once in awhile might be a good idea. ]
Mr. Spain, do you happen to have gotten a sheet of stickers in your mailbox?
I was wondering if you might want to exchange some! :) I'm curious to see if they have some kind of effect from the Landlord, again, or if we can trade them in for things from home.

There's so much more
to you than
just tomatoes
You have
the grandest of smiles
and a heart
that is
three times too big
Oh Spain
it's been so long
since I first met you
but your very presence
it's silhouetted
in my heart
So please accept

Yes, I did! Do you really think they'll have some sort of effect?
I suppose just giving them out would be too easy for us. :(
We can trade and see what will happen!!! I only have gold stars though, would that be fine?
