A cute kid that's actually a century old vampire that's actually not very cute but Spain legit does not know the difference. Spain likes to think he hit it off with Charles right away but the truth is Charles basically lured Spain towards dangerous death only to be convinced otherwise with candy and the promise of a favor. He seems pretty oblivious about how awfully that could have ended though. Spain adores Charles and is forever oblivious to what a difficult person he really is. Spain's begun to figure it out but in the end, he's also too stubborn to really leave him alone, oops. There's a lot about him that Spain doesn't know but he'd like to get to know Charles the best he can. He truly wants him to be a happy kid instead of a grumpy old man. |
A respectable but slightly awkward doctor that Spain enjoys talking to. Spain is oblivious to how awkward Malkus can be at times and really, really regards him. He doesn't understand or know a lot about Malkus so Spain ends up projecting a lot of his past experiences onto him as a result. He regards Malkus as a very kind, brave, and respectable person. Anyone that says otherwise is clearly a fool. |
Spain considers Ciel to be one of the kindest people in Haven. She has the patience and compassion of a saint and if this keeps up, he'll probably legit recommend her for sainthood. She's a seasoned and experience Havenite and Spain feels comfortable asking her questions or for help (which is something, considering how proud he really is about these things). Recently, he's begun to question some things about her like why she was so armed when he ran into her during the spirits event. Though, he's a gentleman so he would never question a woman about her age or how dangerous she really is. He's quite content to conveniently forget and ignore that until it comes up again. |
Spain truly worries about Noire and wants her to be happy. She came off as a very kind but nervous girl when they first met. At first, he kind of assumed it was because she was shy and he tried to be very friendly so she would be comfortable around him. Despite how timid she appeared to be, she's proven she can... definitely handle herself. He's seen her other side but is completely oblivious to the true nature of that personality. He figured she was either very angry or just very much caught in the moment (which he can toootally understand). She's obviously just a very passionate young girl and there's nothing wrong with that. |
The first superhero Spain has ever met. Spain knows a certain hero with superpowers back home and he wasn't very impressed but Kon has surpassed all expectations. While being able to fly and handle yourself in a fight is really cool, Spain really values Kon's kindness, desire to help, and positive energy. Even if he didn't have special powers, with those traits alone, Spain would gladly consider Kon a hero. |
Not Kon and not Kon's twin but it's just a lot easier to call Conner and Kon brothers than clones. When Spain thinks of clones, he thinks of people that are well... exact clones! And Conner and Kon are so different, it reminds him of two siblings. The only way Spain can tell them apart is because he calls Conner the "grumpy brother" in his head. |
