Destroying the queen bee of a hive renders the remaining workers useless. Obviously, I can't say I know the future, but if the mastermind is removed...
((I am a terrible person and lost this thread in trial madness, I apologize. =( ))
...You talk as if you're testing me.
[Susan speaks mildly.]
I know there are some who are examining the lists - those who are constantly immune, those who are never suspects in trial. Personally, I don't think it will be as obvious as all that. [a beat] Especially given who tops the former list.
Last week, there was a victim for each one of us. ( 20 victims from back home for 20 players. ) That means everyone is playing, even our mastermind.
Perhaps one of them was a stranger; someone the mastermind didn't even know. Or maybe it's the opposite.
If it's the former, the mastermind has nothing to lose with these incentives. They would never have to act and would only have to worry about being scapegoated.
But if it's the latter... Well, that's another set of questions.
((that's cool! just let me know what IC day and i can get that read? :0))
((I think Gundam will need to be involved as well for this; it has to do with the immunity clue we were given today. Let me PM both of you on Plurk so we can work this out! Thanks a lot for being accommodating!))
The clue was that one of the 'players' was given an advantage. That was clear from the beginning. Given that it's impossible to know who's telling the truth about the incentives barring telepathic powers, I don't know if investigation in that direction will be very useful.
...Memories, secrets, regrets, a special item, an important person, a personal nightmare... Can any of that truly be known?
Given that the ropes aren't working, I have a new suggestion. Stay within sight of two people at all times. I'll post an 'escort list' instead. If you vanish, we'll assume you're off murdering someone.

How is the game rigged in their favor? What are your ideas?

Why wouldn't it be that obvious? I thought you were the mastermind. ( Teasing, obviously, but oh, well. ) Have you tried looking at the incentives?

[Activating death glare.]
What do you mean? We already know they're occasionally personalized. ...Or do you mean that someone's incentives are less compelling than the rest?
((I am a huge jerk but I think I also need a private conversation with Spain for this coming week as well aha... I apologize for this!))

( His voice trails off some and he goes quiet for a few seconds. )
Ay, this is all too serious for me; I think I'll take a nap.
( Spain it's the morning please. )

He tries to not smile but he's always been a relatively reactive person. There's a crooked smile and a surprised look in his eye, )
Y-yes, of course-- thank you.

This has no bearing on how I feel about you.
[Susan does not smile as she nods and turns away.]
Sonia and May are with you today, I think. I'll let them know.
