Week 4, Monday
( After a romantic night of wine and chocolate and walks around the gardens under the starry skies or whatever cliche romantic activities they had planned, Spain escorted Austria to her room. It's pretty ironic if you consider the fact that escorting her to her room is what started their little scuffle last time but this time, it's important.
When she gets to her door, he leans in close and for a second, it might look like he's going to kiss her good night on the cheek but instead, he's whispers, )

She gives a glance to either end of her hallway looking for Rin or Ryou first.]
... ja. If you'd like.
[She'll unlock the door for him and quickly escort him inside.]

Gracias. ( And once inside, he'll smile. He's never been in here before so it's interesting to see how the room is different from his own up in Griffin Wing. And then he gets to the point, ) Have you thought about the trial lately?
( You know. The one they kind of got in trouble for. )

How can you be sure?

For starters, no one broke into her room. She probably threw her trident down because it would have been easier than climbing down with it. She then used the grappling hook to climb down to Eridan's room. Once there, she used the skeleton key to break in. She used his own gloves to drug him with chloroform-- it makes sense when you remember her hands were small enough to fit into the gloves. Actually, if you remember their sizes, a lot of things make sense like the robe. She wasn't allowed to bathe at those hours so she put on Eridan's robe to prevent blood from getting on her. Again, the robe would have fit. If we'd thought about that... Ian and I would have been ruled out easily based on our sizes alone.
Anyway, she killed him in his room. We know that for sure because Eridan had to be dead before he left outside. She dragged him out to the lake for... some reason. ( They still haven't figured that out. ) And used the boat to take him out because again, she couldn't bathe. As he continued to bleed out in the boat, blood got on the hem of the robe because she wasn't tall enough. Realizing this, she tried to clean the boat; otherwise, again, her size could have given her away. The robe wasn't just to clean up the scene-- it was to hide who wore it.
Already, we've cleared myself and Ian based on the fact we're too big to wear any of Eridan's clothes so that would leave you, Feferi, and Athena and we can prove you're innocent by--... ah, actually, I get to that in a second.
So Feferi returned to Eridan's room to leave the robe and gloves. She took down the grappling hook and went to the bathroom to pour out the chloroform. We think that was just a false lead to confuse us. From there, she used the hook again to climb up to our bathroom. ( Griffin Wing's bathroom, that is. ) In the process, she knocked the brick loose but decided to use that to her advantage to hide the skeleton key. Maybe she heard someone wake up or maybe she didn't... but either way, she hurried to leave our wing and left blood behind.
She hid the grappling hook in the game parlor and after that, she had it easy. By then, all she had on her was her trident and would anyone really suspect anything if they saw it on her? She could have claimed she was going back upstairs to get something from her room.
Anyway, if you think of it like that, it's easy to clear you and Athena. Chronologically, it doesn't make sense for you to be the killer especially... when... y'know? ( Your sense of direction is awful and you didn't exactly pass that potato sack test with flying colors either. ) Also... you already get lost during the day but can you imagine at night? You'd have a hard time seeing... and Feferi... can see well in the dark, apparently. ( It must be an underwater thing, he doesn't really know. )
For Athena ( And Spain too since he falls in the same category ), it doesn't really make sense chronologically either. ( They kind of went over that with Ian. ) But let's say she was able to do all of that and then take the extra step of sneaking into Feferi's room to take and return the trident... the placement of the blood doesn't really make sense. She could have easily gone back to clean it up if she wanted to be extra sure there wasn't anything in our wing to point to her. Feferi wouldn't have been able to do it based on the fact she doesn't live in our wing and wouldn't have access back in because she'd already gotten rid of the skeleton key. But even if she'd wanted to go back and clean up, I think hiding the key in our window makes it pretty obvious she was trying to frame us.
( Gosh, that was... a lot to go over. )

But it makes sense actually and all the evidence fits together for the most part.]
Who else knows about this and what are we supposed to do about Feferi then?

We lost our opportunity to be certain it was her you know.
What do you plan on doing now that you think this is true?

We have to be careful about this; if the wrong people find out, they might act against her extremely and we'd just have another trial to deal with. On the other hand, if she found too many people knew, she might get desperate and try to stop us.
Also, if everyone knew she was guilty, it could distract us during a later trial and we could let another killer go loose.
The best we can do is warn people and tell them to be careful so they can keep an eye on her but try to keep some normalcy.

I've been trying to establish a repertoire with her myself for now, ever since Frau Fey mentioned her suspicions to me.
